Wick Academy FC has entered into an agreement with Amazon.co.uk whereby purchases made from Amazon that have been referred from the Wick Academy web site, will earn WAFC a % commission. All commission earned from this agreement will be paid directly into the youth development programme at the club to develop our youth players into our ‘stars’ of tomorrow.
Amazon is one of the biggest on-line internet stores in the UK, selling products such as:
- Books
- DVD’s
- Videos
- Software
- Electronic equipment
- Toys and games
- Home & Garden items
- Kitchen & House-ware items
- Health & personal care items
By using the links on the WAFC web site every time you purchase goods from Amazon.co.uk you contribute directly to our youth development programme. Doing this won’t add any additional cost to your purchase, but it will give an immediate commission fee to the club.
Please note that commission will only be gained if you make the purchase by clicking on the links on the Academy site and purchasing directly from Amazon.co.uk will not earn any commission for the club.
To date, there are 3 links on the front page of the Academy web site that will take you to the Amazon store:
- An item in the main menu called ‘WAFC Amazon Store’
- A ‘Search Amazon’ option that will allow you to search, and be referred to, the Amazon site
- Promotion of a book by Colin Irwin, called ‘Sing when you’re winning’
Clicking any of these links will take you directly to the Amazon site, where you can then make your purchase directly with Amazon. Amazon has a way of identifying purchases referred from the Academy web site, and they will then automatically award WAFC with the corresponding commission.
Please consider making any Amazon purchases in this way, and spread the word to friends and families who also make purchases from the Amazon site. It won’t cost you anything additional, but will directly assist in the funding of our youth programme.
The book which we are directly promoting, ‘Sing when you're winning’ is written by Colin Irwin. Colin visited the Harmsworth Park as part of his book research last year, and the book contains 8 pages on his experience at Wick Academy, including interviews with Craig Shearer, Drew Robertson and Clare Harper. It’s a great read!
Thank you for your support in this venture.
