The Craig Shearer Testimonial football match opposition has
been confirmed as Ross County FC.
The match will be played on Tuesday 31st August
at the Harmsworth Park, Wick with a 7.30pm kick off. County have confirmed that it will be their full senior squad that they will be taking up with them.
The Craig Shearer Testmonial Committee are grateful to Ross
County FC for agreeing to support this fixture and are equally excited by the
prospect of welcoming a squad which will include many of the players
who were involved in last seasons Scottish Cup Final.
Alistair Ross said "Following the disappointment of
realising the financial implications of bringing Dunfermline Athletic FC to
Wick, we are very excited at the prospect of welcoming Ross County FC to the
Harmsworth Park. We would like to thank them for agreeing to participate in the
testimonial fixture in recognition of Craig. I know he is very excited about
the fixture and we hope that his contribution to Wick Academy FC over the past
11 years will be recognised by the supporters."
