November 2005 - Team and Club News

Saturday November 26th:
Manager Ally Budge will have long term casualty Jamie MacKenzie (Broken Bone -Foot) missing along with Murray Coghill (Work Commitments) and Martin Gunn (Suspended) when Wick entertain Nairn County at the Harmsworth Park.

However experienced duo Alex Lamb and Paul McCallum are welcomed back into the squad after lengthly injuries.

Wick will be hoping to bounce back from their previous two defeats against the North of Scotland Cup Winners who are expected to take a full strength squad North.
A victory for Wick would see the scorries join Nairn in tenth place on 17pts.
However the Winter Weather has put the game in jeopardy, with a Pitch Inspection scheduled for Saturday Morning (0830hrs approx).

Novmber 18th 2005 - Team News v Lossiemouth (away)
Paul McCallum should be available for selection but Alex Lamb and Jamie Mackenzie won't make the squad for tomorrows game away to Lossiemouth.  Alex is still recovering from his knee injury and Jamie Mackenzie has a broken bone in his foot. Jamie is currently Academys top scorer this season and looks likely to be replaced by Mark Nichol. Good luck tomorrow lads.

November 12th 2005 - Team News v Nairn County (Away)
Apart from Alex Lamb, Manager Alistair Budge has a full squad to choose from for this weekend's HL match away to Nairn County Fc.

November 5th 2005 Team News v Fort William
Manager Alistair Budge has added Gavin Henderson to his squad for this Saturday's home match verses Fort William, however Alex Lamb is still unavailable through injury.
I can confirm however Paul McCallum's return to training tonight after a long lay off with a hamstring injury.

One disappointing piece of news coming out of the Harmsworth Park tonight is the none appearance of Martin MacGregor at training tonight, it's believed that Martin may have played his last match for WAFC last weekend against Rothes, although this news has still to be confirmed.

If true I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Martin for his services to WAFC.

All the best Martin, however I hope you decide to continue playing for the Black & Whites.
