Friday March 24th - WAFC v Keith, Fosters cup:
Wick entertain Keith tomorrow in the Fosters Highland league cup. Keith have done the league double on us this year, so hopefully tomorrow will see a change of fortune.
Academy are without the services of last weekends goal hero Mark Nichol, as well as Murray Coghill and Gary Manson. Martin Gunn has been training again and may just be fit in time to make the starting line-up.
Good luck to the boys, hopefully we can get a result that sees up through to the next round, where a home tie against Fraserburgh awaits.
Friday March 17th - WAFC v Rothes:
A big game tomorrow for Academy who will draw level on league points with Rothes if they can manage a win. Martin Gunn is still out with injury, and Paul McCallum is also doubtful due to injury. Academy beat Rothes 2 - 0 when we played them at Mackessack Park last October, so lets hope we get a similar result tomorrow.
Saturday March 11th - Fraserburgh v WAFC:
Wick travel to Fraserburgh today looking to do a domestic double after beating them at the Harmsworth in October by 2 goals to 1.
Wick skipper Martin Gunn is still unavailabe due to the injury he picked up in the Buckie game, so Craig Shearer picks up the captains arm-band in his place. Apart from the absence of Martin manager Budge has a full squad available to pick from.
Fraserburgh have two players out with suspensions, Christie and Fleming, but the bad news for Wick is that their top goal scorer Gavin Wemyss is set to feature.
Match reports from the Broch will be updated on the Academy ticker tape as the action takes place.
Saturday March 4th:
Todays Fosters league cup game with Keith has been postponed due to heavy snow. Pictures of the park here. This game will now be played on March the 25th.
