Ian Munro (Zeekie) and Richard Hughes (Titchy) have a long association with Wick Academy FC. Ian has been 1st Team Coach for the past seven years, working alongside Peter Budge, Pat Miller, Alistair Budge, and latterly Peter Budge once more. Prior to this Ian played North Reserve football with the Club between 1977 to 1994, winning league trophies and cups during that spell.

Richard Hughes played for Wick Academy for 10 years prior to the Clubs entry to the HFL. A short spell at Brora Rangers preceded his return to Wick Academy where he made a total of 158 appearances, scoring 32 goals. He has previously managed local team Wick Thistle and North Reserve team, Halkirk Utd prior to joining the coaching staff under Alistair Budge in 2005.

Both are seen as ideal candidates to maintain the continuity of development and to continue the positive work initiated by Peter Budge and the Club welcomes them into their revised roles. Once again, the Club would like to thank Peter Budge for all his work and wish him every success for the future.
