Academy have 3 missing today; Stewart Ross, James More and Alan Farquhar. Huntly's David Booth broke his collar bone in last weekend's 4-4 tie against Inverurie so he is on the long-term injury list for the home side.
James Pickles gets a start today and Gary Weir gets nod ahead of Geruzel.
Academy storm out of the blocks and take the lead with only 40 seconds played. A long ball is fired up-field by Grant Steven and Gary Weir flicked it onto Richard Macadie. Macadie drove forward before sliding Weir into the left channel and Academy's hit-man took one touch before rifling home low past keeper Neil Hastie.
0 - 1
The home side have a chance with 9 minutes played. Craig Shearer committed a foul 25 yards from goal and Andrzej Kleczowski flashed his free-kick attempt just past Michael Gray's left hand post.
19 minutes played and Academy have another chance. Macadie worked the ball to Weir up the left touch-line. Weir fired in a low cross which Sam Mackay stretched for and got a toe to the ball but not enough to divert it past keeper Hastie who made a comfortable save.
Six minutes later and from a throw-in on the right Weir found a yard on his marker to fire in a shot which the keeper looked to get a finger to and the ball skimmed off the out-side of the post.
In the next attack Academy again made good ground up the left flank through Stevie Cunningham who slipped the ball for Macadie to beat the off-side trap. He crossed the ball and Sam Mackay took it on the half-volley 15 yards from goal but he drove his shot straight at keeper Hastie.
3 minutes from the half-time break Huntly square the scores. Neil Davidson broke into the Academy box and James Pickles tracked back and made a great defensive tackle to clear the ball out for a corner. Michael Fyfe fired the corner into the mix and it was cleared back out to him. He sent it straight back in and Sam McKenzie rose highest to head home into the top corner.
1 - 1
A minute later and Academy regain their one goal advantage. Davie Allan hit the burners before sliding a perfect pass to Sam Mackay just inside the box and he sent a left foot shot home off the inside of the left hand post.

Half Time - Huntly 1 - Wick Academy 2
Six minutes into the second half and Academy craft another chance. Weir picked the ball up on the half-way line and drove forward. He sent Mackay off down the left wing who in turn fed the over-lapping Gary Manson. Manson broke into the box and keeper Hastie got a touch on his driven shot to turn the ball for a corner.
A minute later it was the home side that were on the attack. Stasiak played the ball up the right flank for Jason Coyle who outpaced Grant Steven and 15 yards from goal he got a shot on target which looked goal-bound but Gray got both hands to the ball and turned it over his cross-bar.
Just before the hour Academy make their first change. James Pickles coming off for Bryan McKiddie.
2 minutes later Huntly make a double change with Daniel Stewart and Andrzej Kleczkowski coming on for Paul McCarthy and Michael Fyfe.
With 62 minutes on the clock Michael Gray makes a great save to deny Huntly an equaliser. The ball was crossed deep to the Academy back post for Neil Guild to lay it back across goal for Adam Naismith but his shot was tipped over by Gray.
2 minutes later the scores were again levelled. Craig Sheerer cleared a high ball in the Academy box for a corner kick. The corned was swung in and Neale Davidson headed home from 8 yards out through a ruck of bodies.

Sam Mackay is booked in the 66th minute for a tackle through the back of ex team-mate Grant Campbell.
Huntly almost take the lead for the first time in the game. Huntly worked a short corner to Sam McKenzie who turned on the edge of the box and fired a wicked shot right across goal but there were no takers on hand to turn it home.
Academy make a change up front with Gary Weir being replaced by Lukasz Geruzel.
The game could go either way and there are further chances at both ends.
Manson and Macadie played a neat one-two before Manson crossed into the box for the on-rushing Davie Allan but he couldn't get a clean strike on the ball and it is deflected for a corner.
Up the other end Jason Coyle broke the offside trap and stormed up the right wing before firing a low cross onto the box for Stasiak, but under close pressure from Craig Shearer he ballooned his effort over the cross-bar from 7 yards out.
11 minute from time and Geruzel had a great chance to put the Scorries back in front. Sam set Shaun Sinclair on a run and Davie Allan flicked his bouncing cross onto Geruzel but his left foot shot whistled agonizingly past the post.
Six minute from time Academy again re-take the lead. Bryan McKiddie cleared a Huntly corner up the left wing and Sam Mackay picked the ball up and skipped the tackle of Daniel Stewart before crossing into the box for Richard Macadie to sweep home to the keepers left hand from 12 yards out.

Academy press for more and a long diagonal ball from Macadie is picked up by Geruzel on the edge of the Huntly box but the big Polish striker again flashed his shot just past the post.
Macadie is substituted for Ross Allan 2 minute from full-time and Academy run out the clock for a great victory.
