Timeline

  • Academy are out of the new SFA Challenge Cup after Saturday‚Äôs defeat at Christie Park.

  • Greg Shearer was the Wick Academy saviour in Saturday's Scot-Ads Highland League clash at Claggan Park. The 18 year old came off the bench twelve minutes from time when his team was a goal down and with only three minutes left he headed the equaliser.

  • Last Appearance - Rothes 0 - 5 Wick Academy

Co-managers Tichie and Zeeky took charge of their final Academy game today and signed off with an impressive 5-0 win which equals our record league away win which was achieved at Lossiemouth two weeks ago. The result also sees Academy keep a clean sheet for three games in a row. Academy were short of several regulars today including Shaun Sinclair, Martin Gunn and Andrew MacLeod. Sam Mackay started his first game since the 19th of March. Colin Sinclair and several of the Academy under 17 squad are also included in the squad.
