Joined Academy on a development loan in July 2017 from Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Plays at right back and has fitted in very well since joining the squad. Only 19 but strong and looks very secure.

July 29th, 2017
Fraserburgh 3 - 1 Wick Academy

  • Date of Birth

Alasdair was born on this date in .

  • Academy lost their opening game of the campaign with a 3-1 defeat away at Fraserburgh. Davie Allan and Alan Farquhar look set to miss another chunk of the season with injuries picked up last year, and James Pickles was suspended for this one. New signings Alasdair Stark, Jack Halliday and Aidan Wilson all made the opening line-up.

  • Wick Academy and Clach played out a nil nil draw at Grant Street Park. Goalmouth action was in short supply but a powerful shot by Gary Manson after 20 minutes brought out a good save from Clach keeper Douglas Maclennan. A corner from Richard Macadie after 35 minutes caused a bit of mayhem in the Clach defense and a deflection off a defender looked goalbound for Wick but was cleared off the line by John MacAskill. Challenges became a little more meaty in the second half resulting in a flurry of bookings for both sides after the 70th minute mark with Wick's Michael Steven picking up two yellows in the space of 4 minutes which left him heading to the dressing room a few minutes ahead of the rest of the team.
